Manaslu Circuit Trek

One of the best trekking destinations of whole Nepal is Manaslu circuit trekking route. Before it was less known to people? From 1991 A D it was made official to every people. Main attraction of this trek is Mt. Manaslu (8th highest mountain of the world). Passing several villages we will complete our whole trekking. Different ethnic group of people can be found in this region. We will have interaction with them. Hinduism and Buddhism are the religion followed by people. All this things will make our whole trekking full of joy.

Our walking trekking to Manaslu circuit begins from Aarughat. Our walking trial will be beautiful and dense forest of oak, pine and liliguras (national flower). Different species of rare birds and animals can be explored in this trekking route. Only limited hotel and lodges are found in every part. Our most of nights will be in tented camp. It will be amazing and new experience. Enchanting experience can be obtained when we walk from low land to high land. Walking like circle we will finally be in Besisahar and return back to Kathmandu to end our trek.

Manasalu Circuit trekking is moderate, adventurous, & long Day Trekking. Our choice of Real toughness trekking can be experienced. We may face some problems as our every step leads us to higher altitude. Month of January, February, March, April, May, October, November and December will have best season to do trekking in this region. We the team of Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Day 04: Arughat to Soti Khola (775m)–6 Hours

Day 05: Soti Khola to Machha Khola (900m)–6 Hours

Day 06: Machha Khola to Jagat (1340m) – 6 Hours

Day 07: Jagat to Ngyak (2310m) –6 Hours

Day 08: Ngyak to Ghap (2100m) – 6 Hours

Day 09: Ghap to Lho (3200m) – 6 Hours

Day 10: Lho to Samagompa (3500m)–6 Hours

Day 11: Samagompa to Stone Hut (4500m)–5 Hours

Day 12: Exploration day at Stone Hut

Day 13: Cross Larkya La Pass (5215m) and to Bhimphedi (3590m) – 8 Hours

Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and shift-in to Hotel

After landing flight at TIA, representative of Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Ltd. will warmly receive you. We will shift you towards your hotel. We will enjoy delicious dinner at night. After dinner is finished we will give brief description of the Manasalu Circuit trekking program which is our destination.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley

Today is the rest day and preparation day for our whole trek. Beside this we will spend our remaining day by sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley. Firstly we will visit Pashupatinath one of the holiest temple of Lord Shiva, Bauddhanath Little Tibet and to Swayambhunath Monkey Temple. Then from here we will drive to Basantpur Durbar Square at hanuman dhokha. Spending some time we will return hotel and prepare our trek for tomorrow.

Day 03: Kathmandu to Aarughat

Early morning after having breakfast, we will take a drive to Aarughat. It takes about 7 to 8 hours. During our drive the spectacular view of the roadside houses with forest will be so much enjoyable. After reaching Aarughat we will visit spectacular places around the valley. Lastly we will return back to our hotel for our night.

Day 04: Aarughat to Soti Khola

After having breakfast we will start our trekking toward Soti Khola. We will follow the track of Manasalu region. We will walk on the cultivated farms and beautiful Gurung community villages of Manaslu Region. Many panoramic views can be seen during our walk. In this way we will be at Soti Khola to stay our night.

Day 05: Soti Khola to Machha Khola

We will walk toward Machha Khola. Humpty Dumpty road trail will be our walking path. We will pass through settlements of Liding and Lapubesi.  In our way we will have obstacles by snow melted glaciers and many other rocky mountains. After walking for about 5 to 6 hours we will reach Machha Khola.

Day 06: Machha Khola to Jagat (1340m) – 6 Hours

After having breakfast, we will continue our journey to steep way towards the terraces path. We will reach to the beautiful waterfall. Over here we can play for some time. We will reach at Khola Besi after walking for some time. After walking for about 6 hours we will reach Jagat at the height of 1300 m.

Day 07: Jagat to Ngyak (2310m) – 6 Hours

In rocky trial we will continue our walk toward Ngyak. Crossing long suspension bridge we will reach Manaslu conservation area. Forest walk will be so much interesting. Dramatic view of Shringi Himal will be so much beautiful in our way. We will cross Sirish Gaon and reach Ngyak for our night.

Day 08: Ngyak to Ghap (2100m) – 6 Hours

Today our journey leads us to beautiful village of Ghap. Forest upstream of Deng River & a newly built rock tunnel will be our main walking trial. Continuing our journey slowly we will finally be at Ghap. Over here we will explore Mani stones & chortens with Tibetan culture in our leisure time.

Day 09: Ghap to Lho (3200m) – 6 Hours

We will continue our journey to Loh. To start our journey we need to cross wooden bridge over Budi Gandaki River. Track of houses interspersed with cultivated fields will lead us to Lho. During our walk we will be pleased with many panoramic views. In this way we will reach Lho for night at tented camp.

Day 10: Lho to Samagompa (3500m) – 6 Hours

Our today’s walk leads us to Samagompa. Walking in humpty dumpty trial we will be pleased with the beautiful view of peak 29. Passing through stone gate & long Mani stone wall we will be able to reach samagompa. We will have leisure time & we will spend it by roaming around the villages.

Day 11: Samagompa to Stone Hut (4500m) – 5 Hours

Early morning after having breakfast, we will hike to terraced hill to Stone hut. It is located on the opposite bank of Budhi Gandaki River. Samdo (the most remote village) will be our resting point. Spending some of time in Samdo we will continue our walk to reach Stone Hut for cool night.

Day 12: Exploration day at Stone Hut

Walking continuously for a long day we will take rest for one day.  We will accumulate our self in thin air to fit our self in higher altitude. In our coming day we need to face higher & higher altitude which make difficulty in our walk. Then we will go inner village and start exploring other places with local people.

Day 13: Cross Larkya La pass (5215m) and trek to Bhimphedi (3590m) – 8 Hours

Bhimphedi is our today’s destination. First of all we need to climb Cho Chanda. We will go slowly ahead steeply uphill to Larkya La Pass. Panoramic view of snowcapped mountains from the height will be memorable for our whole life. Then we descend down to reach Bhimphedi for night.

Day 14: Bhimphedi to Tilje (3900m) – 5 Hours

From Bhimphedi, our next destination is Tiliji. It’s our returning journey. We don’t need to walk stepper. We walk through paddy fields to Karcha La pass. We will trek downward through fig trees & forests of rhododendrons until we reach Tilje. In Tilije we will set our camp with a tem for our night with group.

Day 15: Tilje to Tal (1725m) – 5 Hours

We will trek toward Tal. Downstream trail of Marshyangdi River will be our main walking trial. We will be fully surrounded by beauty of nature all around us. Scattered villages should be passed in our walk. Continuing our walk in easy trial we will reach Tal village to stay our night at tented camp.

Day 16: Tal to Jagat (1300m) – 5 Hours

After having breakfast, we will continue our journey to steep way towards the Rocky trial. We will reach to the beautiful waterfall. Over here we can play for some time. We will reach at Chamje & Himal Pani Villageafter walking for some time. After walking for about 6 hours we will reach Jagat 1300 m.

Day 17: Jagat to Bahundanda (1275m) – 5 Hours

Our today’s walking destination is Bahundanda. It’s easy to walk as we need to trek downhill. We will follow the trial of Marshyangdi River. Many panoramic views so catch all the magic moments of the trekking can be seen during our walk. After walking for about 4 to 5 hours we will reach Bahundanda for our night.

Day 18: Bahundanda to Besishahar – 5 Hours

We will start our trekking toward Besisahar. We will follow the track of Marshyangdi River. Many panoramic views can be seen during our walk. We can take a short drive from Bhulbhule. After reaching Besisahar we will visit spectacular places around the valley. Lastly we will return back to our hotel for our night.

Day 19: Besishahar to Kathmandu – 7 Hours

Early morning after having breakfast, we will take a drive to Kathmandu. It takes about 7 to 8 hours. During our drive the spectacular view of the roadside houses with forest will be so much enjoyable. After reaching Kathmandu we will visit spectacular places around the valley. Lastly we will return back to our hotel for our night.

Day 20: Farewell

After having a night rest at Kathmandu, we will pack our luggage to return back to our home land. We need to reach at airport 3 hours before the flight. Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Ltd. we will attend a small farewell program for you. We hope, while returning back to home country you will think for a re visit to Nepal. We hope for your better journey.
