Day 01: Kathmandu to Siliguri:
Fly to Biratnagar. Drive to Siliguri (150kms/4 hrs). Overnight stay in Siliguri.
Day 02: Siliguri to Yuksam – (1770m):
Drive to Yuksam, the starting poing of trek. Overnight stay in trekker’s hut (or tent)
Day 03: Yuksam to Tshoka – (2745m):
The trek begins through dense semi tropical forests occasionally crossing beautiful mountain steams. After lunch walk the last two hours to Tshokan which is a steep climb. Overnight stay in trekker’s hut (or tent).
Day 04: Tshoka to Dzongri – (4200m):
A steep climb through fascinating rhododendron forests. The magnificient view of Mt. Khanchendzonga and Mt. Pandim can be witnessed all through the route. Overnight stay in trekker’s hut (or tent).
Day 05: Dzongri to Thangsing – (3930m):
A relatively easy trail with a clear view of Mt. Khanchendzonga. After lunch there is a slight climb after crossing the mountain stream. Overnight stay in trekker’s hut (or tent).
Day 06: Thangsing to Samiti Pokhari – (4500m):
The trail is fairly even up to a village before walking along the moraines for about half and hour. Overnight accommodation in tents.
Day 07: Samiti Pokhari to Goechala and Samite Pokhari – (5,002m):
Early morning climb along a gully, as the trail is uneven you have to walk on moraine and boulders. A magnificent view of the east face of Khanchendzonga can be witnessed. Descend to Samite Pokhari. Overnight accommodation in tents.
Day 08: Samite Pokhari to Thangsing:
Trek back to Thangsing river. Overnight accommodation in tents.
Day 09: Thangsing to Bakhim – (2684m):
Descend to Phedang instead of going to Dzongri before a very steep descent to Bakhim. Overnight accommodation in tents.
Day 10: Bakhim to Yuksam:
The last day of the trek, retrace the trail to Yuksam at your own leisure. If you arrive early you can visit Dubdi monastery or take a stroll around the tranquil lake. Overnight stay in trekker’s hut (or tent).
Day 11: Yuksam to Pemayangts/Gangtok (as per your choice):

TOUR COST INCLUDES: Accommodation on twin sharing basis as per tour category (standard/Deluxe), full board meals, ground transfers, sightseeing as per itinerary with English speaking guide, entrance fees and permits.
On treks: Camping equipment consisting of two-man tent and mattress, freshly cooked meals, dining and toilet tents, ponies and trek staff. A minimum of 2 persons is required for obtaining permits to trek in Sikkim.
TOUR COST EXCLUDES: Air fare, personal expenses, travel insurance and re-entry visa.
Visa: All foreigners intending to visit Sikkim have to have an Indian visa which can be obtained at any Indian Embassy or Mission abroad. The inner state permit, which is also a must, can be obtained along with the visa.
