Nepal is a beautiful country blessed with enormous number of forest resources. There is a saying that, once if people visit over Nepal without doing jungle safari will be finishing our whole meal without having salt. Its meaning is we will complete our objectives without any excitement. So we the team of Chomolungma Adventures Pvt. Ltd. hardly suggest each trekkers all over the world to visit Nepal without missing the opportunity of doing jungle safari in greenery dense forest of Nepal. The true fact is that while doing expedition on the high hills, we will pass through beautiful forests of the region. The density of forest is different according to the altitude of place. Such as in Terai region we can get tropical forest & its thickness begins to decline with altitude. After little height we can’t see even a single tree. Just jungle safari in tropical and sub-tropical forest will surely be something new but full of exhilarating and enjoying.

In Nepal there are many places where we can spend our valuable time in the lap of nature by doing jungle safari. In total there are 16 National parks, 4 wildlife reserves and 8 conservation areas. Jungle safari is quite exciting & common and mostly done in Chitwan national park and Bardiya national park. Over we can explore much wildlife such as snow leopards, Ghorals, Gharials, crocodile, red panda etc with 800 types of butterflies. Because of the combination of this fabulous fact, jungle safari is in 4th number in popular adventurous activity. Besides this national park there are many other places where we can do jungle safari. Detailed itinerary

Day 01
1:30 to 2:00 pm
Arriving in Chitwan- after 6 hours Drive from Kathmandu or 5 hours from Pokhara, you will arrive at our hotel about 1:30 to 2:00 pm. It would be a good time to have some meal.

3.00pm: Village Tour and Visiting Elephant Breeding Centre
Of all the animals, elephants are probably the most graceful. Our naturalists will take you to the Hattisar to domonstrate how elephants’ meals are prepared and how they eat in the Elephant Breeding Centre. They will explain the nature and habits of elephants. The unique Centre was established in 1985 for the captive breeeding of domestricated elephants trapping for domestication.

6.30pm: Dinner

7.00pm: Cultural Program
In chitwan there is Tharu social groups, which they show their unique performance. In the evening before dinner tharu cultural dance perfomances used to held. Along this performance you willl be holding drinks and roasted meats to make you more entertainer.

Day 02
6.15am: Wake up

7.15am: Breakfast

8.00am: Cannoning + Jungle Walk
Canoe Ride an active package program. This include in every packages. Canoe ride along the Rapti river will be an excellent opportunity for Bird Watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles; the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial. Take an exciting and invigorating walk through the lush sub-tropical jungles of Chitwan. Our trained naturalists take you to prime spots to view deer, rhinos, sloth bears and other wildlife. They will also give you interesting information about the various plants and animals of the jungle throughout your walk.

12.00noon: Lunch

1.30pm: Jeep Safari
Jeep Drive one of the active and exciting activity for Jungle safari. Jeep drive include in above 3 nights four days package but on your special request it can be done the day you refer. Jeep Drive goes through the grasslands , river in forests and sal forests to Kasara (the National Park’s head quarters) Gharial Hatchery Farm where you will learn about how crocodiles are brought up at this farm & then later released into the rivers.

Day 03
7.00am: Wake up

7.30am: Breakfast – Free for personal belongs – Swim etc

12.00noon: Lunch

1.30pm: Elephant Safari
Seated high on the back of a trained elephant exploring the grasslands and core area of the park, you become an integral part of the life of the Chitwan National Park. The elephant safari, though not the most comfortable rides, is an amazing experience. And it doesn’t take long to spot at least a rhino in these forests.

7.00pm: Dinner

Day 04
6.00am: Wake up

6.15am: Bird Watching
Chitwan is the best destination for bird watching. The birds found here are Cormorants, Lesser Adjutant Stork, Blue Indian Roller, Hornbills, Stor k billed Kingfishers, Grey headed Eagles, Ruby Cheeked Sunbird, Bengal Florican, Largetailed Night jar, Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Beaters & Lesser Florican etc. More than 500 species have been recorded only in Chitwan.

9.00am: Departure
Departure to your destination either Pokhara or Kathmandu
